 Welcome to NAMI-FAMILYA

  Rockland’s Voice on Mental Illness

 Who we are

NAMI-FAMILYA is a self-help and advocacy group for relatives and friends of persons living with a mental illness.  We are affiliated with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and NAMI NYS. We work toward improving services and resources for those with mental illness and their families through education, advocacy and support. NAMI-FAMILYA welcomes individuals living with mental illness, family members, friends and mental health professionals who live and/or work in the Rockland County area.  We are a 501 © 3, not-for-profit organization funded primarily through contributions and membership dues. Because our programs and activities are administered and carried out almost exclusively by dedicated volunteers, funds we receive go directly to our educational and support programs.

If you need help give us a call.
We will provide you with information about resources, referrals to services
and understanding, because we have been there too!

We meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month.

The first Wednesday is a family support session (RAP) and the 3rd Wednesday is an education Program.

Meetings are held at 7:30 pm in Room 119, building F of the

Dr. Robert L. Yeager Health Center, Sanatorium Road in Pomona NY
